We are very pleased to confirm that Abuna Elias Chacour will be visiting the South West of England. Abuna plans to visit the South Hams of Devon as a guest of Desktops for Peace.
The original plan was for Abuna to visit in May. However, due to the ongoing conflict in the region, this will now be delayed. We have instead decided to aim for the first week in October 2026. Please God this will give enough time to allow peace to settle over the middle East and allow Airline schedules to return to ‘normal’ .
The plan for Abuna’s visit here is for him to divide his time between the Kingsbridge area and the lovely Buckfast Abbey.
